It's high time we

They don't make
game shows like they used to. Long live 'Bullseye'!"

Bring Back Bully!!
I’m fed up of watching a load of mercenary
overpaid footballers on Sunday afternoons. Bring back the good
old days when professional & amateur join forces to throw darts
& answer not so high-brow questions & win proper prizes, like
250 quid, mini metros & fondue sets. We want Bullseye back.

Michael Windsor, the most famous unknown person on
television because secretly (and we didn’t tell you this!)
he's the voice & puppeteer of Basil Brush
(pictured with Andrew Wood, the creator and owner of Bullseye).
Comments by Andrew Wood : Creator, Devisor and Writer of 'Bullseye' in association with Norman
Vaughan
I have so many great memories from all the
series of 'Bullseye' that we made. One in particular comes to
mind at this time. It was a letter from a viewer in September
1993. He didn't know that Series 12 was being repeated by
Central and Anglia TV on Thursday at half past midnight in
September 1993.
The viewer was a regular 'Bullseye' viewer
on Sunday afternoons. On the Wednesday evening he went out and
had a few beers. Quite a few as it happens. Later that night
when he got home, a little worse for wear, he got into bed and
turned on his TV set and fell asleep whilst he was watching a
cowboy film. He woke up in the middle of 'Bullseye' and
panicked. He thought he'd been asleep from Wednesday to Sunday.

Scott Gorham, Legendary Guitarist of the Superstar Rock
group Thin Lizzy.
Back in the 80's when I
played darts (hey, I was always in the pub) Bullseye was a fun
show to watch, especially watching the "non dart playing"
contestants. Some of these people looked like they didn't
know which end to throw at the dartboard. Jim Bowen was great
and the fabulously expensive prizes were a hoot.
Bring Bullseye back, nice
one.............I'll have the "fishing row boat" and the "juice
blender" please Jim. And hey!!!.." Where's my Bully Tankard??"

Bullseyetvgameshow.com - Great site, ”Smashing, fantastic”
When are we going to see Bullseye back on terrestrial TV where
it belongs?.
New game shows
may be slicker, they may be more 'Hi Tec', they may have bigger
prizes but none comes close to 'Bullseye'.

Comments by Chris Tarrant : Host of Capital Radio Breakfast Show and ITV's super quiz show, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?
Jim Bowen and I spent a lot of time at ATV
studios in Birmingham together - in fact he was the only person
who spent more time in the bar than I did.
He's a great bloke and Bullseye was
probably one of the most slagged-off shows of all time and yet
continued to get huge ratings week after week for many years.
One of the proudest moments of my life was
when Jim actually gave - yes gave - me a free "Bully" keyring.

I have always been a big

Bowen. It was a very entertaining show with great prizes
to be won and must TV throughout homes around the country.
Cult TV at its best. Super smashing great!

A great show that all the
family can enjoy. Everyone's favourite Sunday TV viewing
back in the 80's and 90's. I would love to see a
new series and be invited back on again.
I had a brilliant time working on the Bullseye Road Shows
with Tony Green.
U Can't beat a bit of bully. Bring back Bullseye! U know
it makes sense.

Comment by Frank Carson. The funniest comedian in the country. If you don't believe that, ask him.
I was so surprised when Bullseye came off
ITV. It's such a good show. Bring it back.
Bowen only had two '0' Levels, mugging and
shoplifting. He was certainly the man for the job. It was me
that introduced him many many years ago on the 'Comedians'.
He's as funny as a snowball in a microwave.

shows, Jeopardy, The Pyramid Game and Search For A Star.
Any show that pulls in the many millions of
punters and students in equal numbers as Bullseye did has to be
a great show. Loved it.

James O'Brien - LBC 97.3 Show
"Bullseye's" absence from our screens is a

It would be
great to see a new 21st century Bullseye show up and running
on terrestrial TV, with the £1 Million Pound Jackpot. I used
to watch Bullseye every Sunday tea time and it had a massive
captive audience. Your format with the £1 Million Pound
Jackpot would go way beyond that.
